Hi! We’re Christian and Mariah Arteaga, and we have the privilege of serving as the Youth Directors at Redeemed Life Church.
Our heart and vision are simple: that every young person in Azusa would come to know the life-changing love of Jesus. This passion is deeply personal for us—shaped by our own stories of how God redeemed and transformed our lives during the ups and downs of high school.
We’re both proud alumni of Grand Canyon University. Christian is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at GCU, and Mariah has her Master of Education.
Outside of ministry, we love hosting game nights, movie nights, and just hanging out with students. You can usually find us enjoying good food or cheering on our favorite teams—go Lakers!
But what makes RLC YTH truly special is our incredible team. We’re surrounded by passionate, faithful leaders who serve, disciple, and love our students week in and week out. We couldn’t do this without them. Their dedication, creativity, and heart for the next generation are a huge part of everything we do.
Our greatest desire is to be an example to this generation—showing what it looks like to follow Jesus, receive grace when we fall short, and walk in the truth that God’s love never runs out.
